Old style ozone "plates" consist of  flimsy easily corroded steel screens and delicate thin pieces of glass or mica which must ALWAYS be in perfect alignment.
If not cleaned and aligned constantly, old style ozone "plates" will produce less ozone, and possibly even spark out dangerous high voltage electricity.

Old style ozone "plates", first designed in the 1800's,  must be removed, scrubbed clean, dried, and be meticulously reassembled, or they will not work correctly.  Even with all that work, their life span is notoriously short.

A 10,000 mg/hr "old style plate" type unit would contain 30 different parts, in 10 separate holders, that ALL must be kept in perfect alignment, or they will not work correctly. 

The built in Countdown Timer allows the unit to be run from 1 hour up to 24 hours.  The timer is easily set or reset with just a press of a button.
The machine can also be used in the continuous mode without using the timer.

They can be replaced by anyone in 5 minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver. 

They they emit Zero Nitrogen Oxides unlike older style plates.

Older style screen and glass "plates" require critical alignments that can cause them to emit less ozone, and eventually short out and fail.

The XT-14000 does NOT use ultraviolet bulbs as many other ozone machines use. That is because our United States patented ozone element is far superior than UV bulbs.

Our ozone elements are literally HUNDREDS of times more powerful than ultraviolet bulbs.

Why don't we use Ultraviolet lamps?
Because they are ineffective in killing mold and germs.

They keep the inside of the unit dust free so that the ozone output does not drop as in many other types of ozone generators.

The Duct Hose Adapter can be mounted on to the front of the machine.  The user can then connect a standard 4 inch duct hose on to the ozone air outlet.
The ozone generator can then be kept out of the room being treated. In this manner the machine itself is not exposed to the ozone.

This can be useful because sometimes a room can actually run out of oxygen if it has all been turned into ozone already.

By connecting the machine to a "clean air draw" more ozone can be produced than if it were left in a room where all the oxygen has already been converted into ozone.
